Scorpion Seal Assembly 2 :: Dechen Chöling

The Sakyong has asked participants who have completed the first Scorpion Seal Assemblies in 2009 to gather at practice centers for a second year program. These retreats, to be led by Shambhala acharyas, will focus on intensive practice of the Werma Sadhana and other practices that were received last summer, as well as the reading transmission of the entire Profound volume. This book will provide the basis of our training as we move forward with the Scorpion Seal path. As such, these second year assemblies will be a prerequisite for continuing on.

Please register before June 5, 2010. If you wait too long to register, the DCL hospitality team may not be able to provide you with a space.

Program Prerequisites

To attend, you must be well on your way to completing the practice requirements set out last year (500,000 recitations), and wholeheartedly trying to fulfill any individual conditions placed on your 2009 acceptance. It is not necessary to apply to the Shambhala Office of Practice and Education in order to attend a second year Scorpion Seal assembly in 2010. The practice centre will verify that you have indeed attended a 2009 assembly once you register.
