Shambhala Vajrayana Seminary

1 - August 23, 2009

with Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche and Acharya Robert Puts

The Shambhala Vajrayana Seminary introduces the student into the Vajrayana teachings and practices of our Shambhala and Buddhist lineages. During this programme, students will receive authorization and training in the Primordial Rigden Ngöndro practice under Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche's personal guidance.

In applying for Vajrayana Seminary, students are requesting to be accepted as his vajrayana students. Thus, attendance in this programme requires a personal connection and commitment to Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, the teachings of the Vidyadhara Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, and the Shambhala Buddhist mandala.

About Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche

Sakyong Jamgön Mipham Rinpoche is the spiritual head of the Shambhala Buddhist Lineage. He is the Dharma heir of his father, the Vidyadhara Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, who was instrumental in bringing Buddhism to the West. The Sakyong is unique in that he bridges East and West, having grown up in both North America and India. He holds the Mukpo family lineage, descending from the Tibetan warrior-king Gesar of Ling. Rinpoche also holds the Kagyü and Nyingma lineages. He is the incarnation of Mipham the Great. Rinpoche is the author of the books, Turning the Mind Into an Ally and Ruling your World. More information about Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche and his teaching schedule is available at www.mipham.com.
