Shamatha Meditation Instructors Training24 - January 31, 2009with Marianne Bots and Simon La HayeA thorough training for new meditation instructors according to the tradition of Shambhala Buddhism, as transmitted by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche and the Vidyadhara Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche. Becoming a meditation instructor expresses a deep commitment to the Sakyong and his students, and is a primary means of transmitting these lineages in a genuine and pure way, from student to student. Upon successful completion of this programme, you will be authorized as a Buddhist meditation instructor or as a practice instructor within the Shambhala Training mandala, or both. Program PrerequisitesTo be eligible, applicants should have completed Shambhala Guide Training. Other requirements apply as well. Application forms, prerequisite lists, and information about Shambhala Guide Training are available from Shambhala Europe at saskia_broker@shambhala-europe.org or at +49 22 1 310 2400. The first review of applications will be October 1, 2008.
As soon as you have received your acceptance letter from Shambhala Europe, please register with the Dechen Chöling office. In case of limited space, early registrations will take priority.
