Warrior Assembly

Warrior Assembly is the culmination of the Sacred Path program and the jewel of Shambhala Training. Participants receive transmission of the advanced Shambhala practices of stroke and lungta, and study the Shambhala root text, The Golden Sun of the Great East. The daily schedule includes meditation, formal talks, stroke practice, study, discussion, and social events. Students who have completed Golden Key are invited, and highly encouraged, to experience the residential warriors`retreat...a living experience of creating enlightened society.

As soon as you have received your acceptance letter from Shambhala International, please register with the Dechen Chöling office. In case of limited space, early registrations will take priority.

About Acharya Arawana Hayashi

Acharya Arawana Hayashi is a senior teacher in the Shambhala Buddhist tradition ; she has taught dharma art, Buddhism and Shambhala Training at centers around the world and serves on the faculty of the Shambhala Institute for Authentic Leadership. She was asked by Chogyam Trungpa to study and incorporate Bugaku into the body of Shambhala Arts.

About Peter Conradi

Peter Conradi, Professor Emeritus of Kingston University London, is the author of a best-selling biography of Iris Murdoch and his Going Buddhist was published in 2004. He is an old student of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche as well as a student and friend of Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche.
